Dear LJES Families,

Welcome back to a new school year at LJES!
As Co-Chair Presidents of the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), we are excited to greet both returning families and those new to our community.
​
We hope you had a restful and enjoyable summer break and are ready for an exciting and productive school year. The PTO is dedicated to supporting our students, teachers, and school staff to ensure a vibrant and enriching educational experience.
​
This year, we have a fantastic lineup of events and initiatives planned, including Back to School Family Social, Family Movie Night, Talent Show, Science Night, Family Dance and International Festival.
These activities not only enhance our children’s learning experiences but also strengthen our school community.

I am looking forward to the new school year and I'm excited to be serving alongside Dana as a co-president of our PTO!
Your involvement is crucial to the success of our PTO. We encourage you to attend the PTO meetings, it’s a great opportunity to learn more about our plans, share your ideas, and find out how you can get involved. Students are welcome to accompany parents and can use the time to read, color, or work on homework quietly in the library.

OUR FOCUS FOR 2024 - 2025 IS BUILDING A STRONG PTO COMMUNITY
Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families.
Plan events and activities that bring the community together, such as the back-to-school family social.
Ensure the PTO is open, transparent, and accessible, encouraging all families to join and help foster a strong community spirit.
We aim to actively involve families by creating opportunities for participation- all are welcome to join the PTO.
